Step inside the Eagle and Child and you will find stylish spaces and a light-filled bar and orangery with wonderful views of Holcombe Moor and the iconic Peel Tower.
They are passionate about their food which is sourced from the very best local, seasonal produce and they grow their own vegetables, fruit and herbs. Their menus feature nibbles, sharing plates, light bites, “Eagle” pub classics, yummy sides and puddings and good choices for guests with dietary requirements.
They serve a good range of Daniel Thwaites cask ales, an interesting choice of cocktails and an eclectic list of wines from around the world. Outside, their garden has a bar which is well-stocked with cask and draught beers, spirits, wines and spritzes.
Their five boutique bedrooms are all en-suite with wet rooms and comprise of two suites with baths, Juliette balconies and fine views and three double rooms. Each room has fridges stocked with beer & fizz, Nespresso machines, snacks, games, a TV and WiFi access.
One of their rooms is dog friendly which can be booked by request and prior acknowledgement directly with the pub.
Ramsbottom is a market town situated on the River Irwell in the West Pennine Moors. Bury is about four miles away and Manchester is 12 miles from the pub.
