The Epicurean Collection Newsletter

Hello Friends,
Welcome to the first ever Epicurean Club newsletter.

We are writing to tell you about our exciting new club, which gives you access to amazing experiences focused on food & drink, culture & heritage, nature and country activities all based around the Epicurean Collection of boutique inns.

If you're looking to do something different this summer, or just want a relaxing getaway, we are here to help. Each experience has been carefully curated so that you get the most out of the great British countryside when you come stay with us. They’re designed to introduce you to new things — horse riding in the New Forest or fly fishing on the Kennet, for instance — or to let you indulge in an existing passion, such as wine (our Tinwood Vineyard visit should tick that box), literature (don't miss our Jane Austen literary escape) or Downton Abbey (see where this popular period drama is filmed with our Discover Highclere Castle experience).

Like gin? Then our Cotswolds Distillery Tour is a must. As well as a tour and tasting of this award-winning (and deliciously moreish) gin, we’ll put you up for the night in one of three gorgeous inns nearby — the Horse and Groom, The Lion Inn, The Seagrave Arms — give you a generous allocation towards dinner, and serve up a delicious cooked breakfast the next morning. We’ll even arrange a private taxi to take you from the inn to the distillery (and back again).

Or maybe you’re after something more adventurous. How does flying in a vintage plane sound? Our Tiger Moth Flight will have you soaring over the Dorset countryside in an open-air cockpit. After this thrilling adventure, you’ll enjoy celebratory tea and cake for two in the airfield’s restaurant, before heading to one of two legendary inns nearby — the Museum Inn or the King John Inn — for an overnight stay. An allocation towards dinner and a cooked breakfast the next morning is included.

That’s just a few examples of the types of experiences we have available. To see the full range, or to book, please do visit our shiny new website. If you'd like to stay an extra night or would like to combine several experiences in an extended stay, we'd be delighted to design a bespoke trip for you. Just drop us a line by email and we'll do the rest.

In the meantime, to keep you informed about new experiences (we plan on adding new ones on a regular basis) we will send you an email newsletter every month, but to see what we're up to on a daily basis, you might also like to follow us on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. And do feel free to explore our website for lots of articles about our four great loves: food & drink, culture & heritage, nature and country activities.

We can’t wait to share our love of the British countryside with you and hope you'll have fun experiencing it with us.

All good wishes,
Joe & Kim
