Our latest competition to win a pub stay asked consumers to name their favourite reason for staying in a pub. The results collated can be viewed below:
- 25% visit a pub for the quality and selection of their drinks
- 20% mentioned convenient location
- 18% commented about the food
- 15% liked the atmosphere
- 8% appreciate the service they receive
- 6% highlighted a pubs individuality and uniqueness
- 4% quoted bedrooms
- 4% mentioned 'an escape from the kids', 'Britishness' and 'things to do in the local area'
The industry needs to educate consumers about the virtues of staying in a pub and we will continue to champion our EAT, DRINK, SLEEP philosophy to a worldwide audience.
