Glasgow is situated in the centre of Scotland and is the second largest city in the country. It is abundant in Things to Do and has a fascinating heritage making Glasgow one of the top places to visit in Scotland and the UK. 

The region is home to two UNESCO World Heritage Sites - The Antonine Wall and New Lanark. The Antonine Wall was built in AD 140s and was once the north western frontier of the Roman Empire.  New Lanark is a village that was founded in the 18th Century and led by the social pioneer Robert Owen. 

Glasgow and the Clyde Valley is a perfect family holiday destination and has a variety of attractions from world class galleries such as Kelvingrove Art and Museum, the historic King's Theatre Glasgow and the state of the art Scottish Exhibition Centre. 

Or if you want to head out into the outdoors there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the countryside. If you want to try your hand at watersports such as sailing and kayaking head to Clyde Muirshiel. For those who want to see some of the incredible wildlife living in Scotland a visit to RSPB Nature Reserve at Lochwinnoch is a must. It is one of the last remaining wetlands in West Scotland.
