Welcome to South Wales

Croeso i Dde Cymru

South Wales is one of the most vibrant regions of Wales. Home to the capital city Cardiff and the Glamorgan Heritage Coast the region offers a wonderful mixture of Things to Do

Cardiff is packed full of culture and heritage and makes a perfect holiday destination for all. Must visits include the National Museum and Wales Millennium Centre. Of course, no trip to Wales would be complete without visiting a castle and Cardiff has one of the finest. Cardiff Castle is a staggering and stunning building with the Roman Fort dating back to the late 50s AD.

Visitors to South Wales get the best of both worlds with exciting city life and glorious countryside close to each other. The Glamorgan Heritage Coast is just a short distance from Cardiff. The Heritage Coast is made up of 14 miles of protected coastline and countryside. Here you can see awesome geological formations including dramatic cliff faces and secluded coves. A must visit is the Merthyr Mawr Sand Dunes which are Wales's closest thing to a desert. The dunes are great fun for all the family and visitors are advised to bring a sled!

So with a vast array of Things to Do why not make your holiday to South Wales even more enjoyable and stay in a pub? Pubs and inns in the region offer guests the chance to explore the region at their own pace. Pubs are a great alternative to traditional bed and breakfasts and are reasonably priced and deliver a high level of service and hospitality. Rooms accommodate all needs whether you are looking for budget accommodation or a luxury suite and fitted with en-suite bathrooms and a range of facilities such as flat screen TVs and Freeview.

With comfortable rooms, delicious home cooked food and local ales and a warm and inviting atmosphere, guests are sure have a great time in South Wales when they stay in a pub!
