An ambitious route ( 36 miles (58 kilometres) across Rough Tor and Brown Willy, Bodmin Moor through unspoilt countryside from Boscastle on the north Cornwall coast that visits such places as Jamaica Inn, Dobwalls, Herodsfoot and Sowden's Bridge before heading south along the river estuary towards the seaside port of Looe.

For the actual crossing of the Moor, that rises to 1300 feet, experienced navigational skills would be essential. Bodmin Moor is renown for mists and changeable weather. Always check the weather forecast before commencing your journey and wear appropriate footwear etc. [ - Visit Wiltshire]
