Hidcote Gardens & Kiftsgate Court image

The National Trust's Hidcote Gardens is an Arts & Crafts masterpiece. Laid out by the revered American horticulturist, Major Lawrence Johnston, the intricately designed outdoor ‘rooms’ offer endless inspiration for the keen gardener. Set alongside Hidcote, Kiftsgate is famed for its grounds that were the creation of three generations of female gardeners. Author and feminist Germaine Greer rates Kiftsgate as her favourite garden.
