We moved to West Wales in 1995, set up a small sculpture workshop and began turning our 2 acre field into a productive garden . In 2008 we opened our gardens and workshop to the public for the first time as part of the 'Open Studio' initiative and were shocked by the amount of people that ventured to the middle of nowhere, ' where the streets have no name' , to come and visit
Since then Sculptureheaven has become an increasingly well known and well loved attraction. Trip Advisor reviews have been overwhelmingly positive and in 2014 the gardens were included in the 'Wales Top 100 Attractions' Booklet and Website.
The Starfish Tea Room has also gained its own reputation for being a place where yummy cakes , homemade cordials and Fair Trade tea and coffee can be enjoyed in lovely surroundings. Named after a Buddhist parable, the tea room works on a donation basis. It is our small way to help out those in need and we donate all profits to the Halo Trust . a UK Charity which clears landmines in war torn countries so that rural people can return to their fields and villages safely.
A visit to us (including parking) is completely free. A typical visitor comment is 'Thank you, this place is absolutely magical.’ ‘Sculptures truly lovely. We will be coming back’.
We have really enjoyed building up Sculptureheaven over the years and meeting all the intrepid visitors who venture out into the wilds to find us.
We hope that you enjoy your visit.
