The Townhouse is a charming boutique hotel located in the heart of Stratford upon Avon, with 12 en-suite bedrooms and an elegant bar and restaurant.

The Townhouse is located in the heart of Stratford upon Avon. Housed in a 400-year-old, Grade II Listed building and opposite Shakespeare’s school, the perfect place to enjoy the history, culture and entertainment that the town offers. There is plenty going on in Stratford upon Avon so whatever you are looking for, it’s right on your doorstep. They are located in the town centre, a two minutes’ walk from the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, five minutes’ walk to Shakespeare’s birthplace and five minutes in the other direction to the Holy Trinity Church.

The seasonal à la carte menu offers well-presented gastro-pub food, which may include: thyme marinated beetroot with whipped goat’s cheese, orange poached pear and candied walnuts to start; pan-fried sea bream with pepperonata, orzo, lemon, lovage and pesto for a main; and peanut butter parfait with salted dulce de leche and coconut cookies to finish. Breakfast, served from 8am, has a selection of seven cooked-to-order dishes, such as full English and eggs Benedict with a continental breakfast available upon request.

They’ve carefully selected a choice of high-quality spirits, beers and wines from all over the world, to suit all tastes. They have an extensive cocktail list, so sit at the bar and watch your cocktail being created. For gin lovers, they have a bespoke gin list too, all enjoyed with Fever-Tree tonics.

Stay the night in one of the 12 comfy and individually designed en-suite bedrooms. Each room varies in size and view to cover most budgets but all have: freshly prepared English or continental breakfast in the morning, as standard, feather & Black beds that promises a relaxing night’s sleep, luxurious en-suite bathroom with Temple Spa toiletries, free WiFi, Nespresso coffee machine with a selection of hot drinks, to wake you up first thing in the morning, as well as still and sparkling water.
