Details

The Boathouse is a warm, welcoming family pub in the heart of Chester, situated on the famous River Dee and just a 5 minute walk from Chester city centre.

This pub is owned by the family brewery JW Lees, meaning that cask ale is at their heart. They serve the best in the area, including family favourites, as well as limited edition seasonal ales. Aside from serving award winning cask ales, they also offer a wine list to suit all tastes so when the sun is out relax with a glass of your favourite grape on their open terrace or grab a bench in one of their beach huts.

They serve a great selection of pub classics and seasonal daily specials and with scenic views over the River Dee, there’s nowhere better to tuck into their delicious homemade pub food.

The Boathouse is the perfect spot to relax and unwind and is a great place to stay after a busy day exploring Chester. Each of their individually designed bedrooms are thoughtfully furnished with all the comforts you need for a relaxing stay including WiFi, freeview TVs, complimentary toiletries, mineral water, tea and coffee making facilities and Tesla charging points on site. One of their bedrooms is dog friendly.

Their light and bright pub and dining area is perfect for celebrating any occasion. As well as their indoor area that can hold up to 40 people, their outdoor terrace is a great space to get together with family and friends and enjoy a drink in the sun.
