Details

Tucked away in a peaceful corner of rural Cheshire and midway along the popular Sandstone Trail, the 5 star Pheasant Inn enjoys some of the most magnificent panoramic views in the area.

Serving good, honest wholesome food using fresh, local produce the inn has been awarded for its quality dining experience with an AA Rosette. Whether you come to drink, dine or unwind for a few days in one of the 12 en-suite bedrooms, this atmospheric location will quickly have you under its spell.

When it comes to food, their philosophy is to use only the freshest and most seasonal produce which is locally sourced wherever possible. They aim to buy the majority of their produce directly from local producers, farms and trawlers. For instance, most of their cheeses all come from a 30 mile radius, a lot of their seafood comes straight off the trawler of Welfish of Fleetwood in Lancashire, and their ice cream is sourced from no other than Cheshire Farm Ice Cream who are just down the road from this pub.

Open daily from 12 noon their menu is designed in three sections; a light-bites section for those that fancy a quick pit-stop or a simple salad, a home-comforts section honouring time tested traditional gastro pub food, and a main course section featuring more varied British and European cuisine.

Housed in delightful old Cheshire sandstone buildings, their 12 en-suite rooms combine both style and comfort and feature modern facilities such as complimentary wireless broadband internet.

The Pheasant Inn is without doubt one of the most picturesque inns in Cheshire. Whether in the main building or the ivy-clad stable wing, you’ll find an attention to detail that anticipates your every need.

The Pheasant Inn is owned and operated by Nelson Hotels, a family owned collection of individual hotels.
