Details

The Cross Keys is a traditional coaching Inn located in South Cumbria on the doorstep of the Lake District, the Lune Valley and the Cartmel and Furness Peninsulas.

The bar is open daily and when you arrive back tired but happy after exploring the corners of this beautiful country, you can retire to the welcoming lights of the limed oak panelled bar and enjoy a quiet drink or two. Enjoy a range of real ales on draught alongside lagers, ciders, spirits, wines and soft drinks.

They offer a traditional bar menu with tasty traditional favourites, such as steak and ale pie, minted lamb henry, curries, snacks, salads, roast gammon and quality, locally reared English beef. Of course vegetarians are not forgotten - there is always a varied selection available plus a tasty menu of light bites, salads and starters.

The 8 bedrooms are all en-suite and some have sitting areas. Overnight guests can start the day with a full English breakfast or a lighter continental style offering. They also have a 2-bedroom cottage that sleeps 5. All the rooms feature a desk, telephone, safe, WiFi access, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and fresh towels and linen.
