They are a family run pub and welcome everyone from those wanting a quick pint or pub lunch through to an evening meal with friends and family. Offering a friendly and relaxing atmosphere, they are open 7 days a week and with a choice of seating inside or outside in the beer gardens, they are sure that you will enjoy your visit.

At the Boot & Shoe they pride themselves on their tasty and home made pub food dishes, along with their range of fine wines and real ales. A traditional pub menu, along with daily specials, they have a great choice of dishes from a light snack through to a full 3 course meal. Along with an excellent selection of drinks, there is no doubt everyone will be happy.

Located on the edge of the Lake District they offer the perfect place to stay. If you are looking for a friendly base they offer a picturesque village location with the choice of twin or king size rooms. The Boot & Shoe is perfectly located to explore the local surroundings or even stop over en-route to Scotland.
