Details

The Britannia Inn, situated at the foot of the Horseshoe Pass, was built in the 14th Century by the Monks of the nearby Valle Crucis Abbey.

Having an extensive view of the Vale of Llangollen below, well known throughout the area for it's good food, accommodation and hospitality, the Britannia Inn is a favourite for locals and holiday makers alike, offering high quality accommodation, in a relaxed country setting.

In the summer, sit outside at one of the outdoor seating areas and enjoy the lovely views. In the winter, sit indoors with a hot drink, enjoying the sparkling snowy views. If the weather is poor, you can relax in your guest room with a good book, or watch something on TV, and just feel your blood pressure reducing by the minute - whilst eagerly looking forward to your next tasty meal down in the elegant dining room or the comfortable lounge bar. Or simply sit in front of the open fire in the lounge bar with a book or newspaper.

The Britannia Inn offers a range of high quality accommodation. Each of the Britannia Inn's six en-suite bedrooms are individually decorated and furnished to a high standard. All the rooms are decorated in a cottage style and each room boasts a double bed. The family suite also holds a double sofa bed. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and a TV. The rooms at the front of the inn also have lovely views down the valley.
