The Devonshire Arms at Pilsley is a charming 18th Century village inn, located on the Chatsworth Estate. This inn is known for it's fine food, brewed ales and beautifully decorated bedrooms.
The pub is lucky to have one of those rare locations on the Chatsworth Estate where the beauty of the area is quite simply breathtaking. It is owned by the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire and is only a short picturesque walk from Chatsworth House itself and blends its idyllic village setting with contemporary comfort.
The food on offer is a very sophisticated take on pub fare. Their Head Chef sources local ingredients, most of which come from the Chatsworth Estate itself and sample menus can be viewed below this descriptive text. This stunning pub also serves an eclectic range of drinks which includes great local ales on tap, including Chatsworth Gold. Breakfast is also a treat and is created using amazing produce from their local farms.
The Devonshire Arms has thirteen supremely comfortable bedrooms, each furnished in their own style and equipped with lots of little extras to make your stay a truly memorable one. Expect large comfortable beds, luxury towels, wrap around bathrobes and freshly ground coffee in each room. They also accept well-behaved dogs in a small number of their Farmhouse rooms only at £10 per dog per night. (Full details about each room type can be found in the rooms tab above and on their website).
