The Bearslake Inn is a picturesque, traditional thatched pub serving good, locally sourced food and offering quality accommodation in the stunning Dartmoor National Park.
They specialise in local produce. The South West of England is blessed with wonderful supplies of fresh meat, fish and vegetables direct from the farmer, fisherman or grower as well as a host of small artisan producers of cheese, ice cream and smoked products. Their separate Stable Restaurant seats up to 40 people. Crisp white table cloths, napkins and comfy high backed chairs combine to create a special atmosphere whether your dining occasion is an intimate dinner for two or a larger group. They also offer the same menu throughout the rest of the bar areas, located in the old part of the 16th Century building which has granite walls and a lovely fireplaces.
Through the front door and turn to your right and you will find the Snug bar, where you can choose from a selection of the finest real ale in Dartmoor together with a fabulous array of beers, wines and spirits. Their large pub garden, with a babbling brook running through it seats circa 120 people and is located to the rear of the Inn with lovely views up to the moor across open farmland. On a sunny afternoon, there is nothing better than whiling away an hour or two by the babbling brook breathing in the spectacular scenery.
Their bedrooms are all individual in style and character. All rooms have a king size bed whilst two of them also have two singles beds and a third, one single bed making them perfect for families. Each bedroom comes with a whole host of little luxuries including crisp, fresh linen, fluffy towels, a TV, toiletries, WiFi and a hospitality tray. A full Dartmoor breakfast is included in your stay and three of their bedrooms are also dog friendly.
The Bearslake Inn and restaurant is situated in the hamlet of Lake in the North West corner of Dartmoor.
