The Blue Ball Inn is a friendly, traditional thatched pub famed for its generous breakfasts. Located just 2 miles from Sidmouth, it's an ideal base for exploring, shrimping and shopping.

The Blue Ball Inn is a pretty thatched pub located among the rolling Devon countryside. Found on the coast road to Sidmouth, it's the perfect base to explore the nearby town's famous golden sands and trendy boutique shops.

The Blue Ball Inn offers a beer garden, neat function room and 9 en suite rooms. The  layout, with several rooms around a central bar area, provides a variety of comfortable and spacious seating areas.

The food is popular with locals and visitors alike, being home-cooked, locally sourced and reasonably priced. Guests can feast on pub classics, such as freshly caught fish and chips, washed down with a pint of real ale. Lunchtime, two course special offers are very good value for money, and will ensure guests leave with their tummies full!

In the warmer months, guests can enjoy views of the beautiful Devon countryside from the good-sized beer garden. On Sundays, the Blue Ball offers its popular carvery, serving traditional feasts from midday to 7pm.

Plus, generous English cooked breakfasts are renowned locally as being the best in the area. Enjoy between 8am - 10am daily, included with accommodation bookings.

The Blue Ball Inn provides 9 delightful en-suite bedrooms all recently refurbished. The rooms all come with crisp white linen, fluffy towels, power showers and endless amounts of steaming hot water to help guests relax and de-stress after a busy day. Tea and coffee making facilities are in every room.

All of the rooms are on the first floor except for a ground-floor double room, which can be set up with either a twin or super king sized bed. With hard floors, this is easily accessible and is also suitable for guests that wish to bring their four-legged friend for an overnight stay.

As well as its proximity to Sidmouth, The Blue Ball is within easy reach of the pretty market town of Okehampton with its golf course and castle remains.
