Welcome to Hunter’s Moon, a traditional mid 18th Century former coaching inn in Middlemarsh, Dorset. It is an outstanding place to visit, for a refreshment stop, a leisurely meal or an overnight stay.

The team at Hunter’s Moon are passionate about good food and local produce, and the ingredients for the homecooked menu are locally sourced where possible. Whether you are visiting for lunch or dinner, or staying with them overnight or for a longer break, from their friendly welcome, real ales and traditional ciders, and tempting menu through to tastefully appointed bedrooms and friendly breakfast service, they are certain you will be delighted with your visit.

They’re lucky to be right in the middle of the Dorset countryside, with the Jurassic coast and sandy beaches of Weymouth, Bournemouth and Poole to the south, and the historic towns of Sherborne, Shaftesbury and Wells to the north. Whether sightseeing is your thing, you want action-packed family friendly days out, or fancy a spot of sport, there’s something for everyone around Middlemarsh.

Here at Hunter’s Moon they have 8 tastefully furnished en-suite bedrooms. 4 of these are double rooms and offer shower, television and tea and coffee making facilities. The other 4 rooms are even more spacious with a king size bed and a comfy sofa as well as shower television and tea and coffee making facilities. These can be used as either double or twin rooms. Alternatively they can be transformed into family rooms with the sofa bed suitable for an adult or child.
