The Talbot Inn is perfectly located in Cirencester in the heart of one of the most beautiful parts of the world - the Cotswolds.

Whether you're just visiting for a drink and a bite to eat or plan on staying longer, The Talbot Inn in Cirencester offers everything you could want from a pub in the heart of the Cotswolds. Diners are well catered for at The Talbot Inn to the point of being spoiled by the wide selection of home-cooked food, which is available to enjoy in the Paddock Bar or al fresco on the Stable Bar patio.

They pride themselves on sourcing the ingredients for the dishes as locally as they can. And in the heart of the Cotswolds there's an abundance of good produce right on the doorstep. All the meat and free-range chicken is supplied traditional family butchers of Cirencester and Burford.

The bed and breakfast accommodation is situated in the north wing and fronted by a floral courtyard with raised flowerbeds. The rooms are annexed to the main building in a converted stable block. Matching colour schemes with co-ordinated furnishings give a cottage feel to all rooms. The Hayloft is the largest of the bedrooms and has a distinctly French design and feel to it. The bed is dressed with luxurious goose feather duvet and pillows. The other four twin, double and family rooms are all on the ground level, and all are en-suite.

All rooms have digital LCD TVs, power showers, desk, chair, mirror, towels, complementary toiletries and refreshments. On request: iron and board, hair dryer, some phone chargers and travel adapters. As with all of the rooms you have your own private entrance via the car park giving easy access to you and your luggage. They also have a quiet seating area outside each room. The breakfasts served 8-9am (earlier or later by arrangement) are always enjoyed, with a full range of juices, cereals, hot beverages, and a cooked English or Continental breakfast.

Cirencester is one of the major towns of the Cotswolds and within easy reach of some of the most picturesque places and countryside to explore and enjoy. You only have to step out of the front door and you're two minutes walk from the historic Roman town centre, which boasts a beautiful wool church with its twelve peel of bells, Corinium Museum, craft and farmers markets, unique shops and award winning pubs and restaurants.
