Welcome to The Spinnaker, a stunning coastal pub located in the sailing village of Bembridge, offering local ales, fresh fish dishes and 14 luxurious en-suite bedrooms.
Bembridge is a chic sailing village on the Islands most easterly point, sprawling from a wooded harbour lined with houseboats on one side and with a steady succession of yachts coming and going. Formerly a fishing village, Bembridge is now a popular visitors destination with beaches, a church, shops and the Islands only windmill.
The Spinnakers en-suite bedrooms include suites and a choice of doubles, with king size beds, twins and family rooms all with tea and coffee making facilities, TV's with DVD player and alarm clocks with iPod docking stations each individually appointed for your comfort.
This pub is proud to use the best quality local produce available from the ‘Garden Isle’. The Isle of Wight has become a real gastronomic destination due to the dedication and passion of local producers, suppliers, and chefs. They are proud to be at the forefront of this movement and to support their local producers.
At The Stern Room, you will receive a unique dining experience where their head chef has created an exquisite fine dining menu. You will be greeted with attentive staff in an aesthetically pleasing environment. This room is decorated with a flickering chandelier and their classic decor is in keeping with their Edwardian roots.
You will find a warm and friendly service at the Spinnaker's freehouse bar, which has a fine selection of wine and ales from their well stocked cellar. At the end of the lounge bar there is a delightfully cosy 'snug bar' for pre-dinner drinks. At the other a real log burning stove to warm you on those cold autumnal evenings.
Please note The Isle of Wight has many travel links to the mainland UK through both foot passenger and car ferry ports in the south of England. This makes it easy for you to enjoy the sights and attractions not only on the Isle of Wight but also along the South coast.
