Details

The Duke of Cumberland, a traditional English Country Inn, is the perfect place for the weary travellers or those looking to relax in a comfortable environment with a convivial atmosphere.

All our rooms are well presented. Newly refurbished and sensitively designed to echo a bygone age they provide warm, comfortable and pleasant accommodation. Each room has an en-suite shower room and toilet. In addition each room has an LCD TV with Freeview, Wi-Fi Internet access, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and alarm clock. No expense has been spared in ensuring that our guests enjoy the very best of facilities during their stay with us.

Residents can further enjoy access to the bar and restaurant throughout the day and evening. We serve traditional English food cooked to perfection, with only the finest ingredients.

A lot of work has been carried out in the garden area too and there is now a safe and pleasant play area for children, as well as space for adults to enjoy a drink in the sun, or a tasty meal. A new boule pitch is also available for the enjoyment of their customers.

Quiz nights and live music are regular events at the Duke and early booking is always recommended.
