This atmospheric dining pub is over 250 years old and is among Lancaster’s busiest and best gastro-pubs.

The Lune Valley village of Claughton sits on the main road between Lancaster and Kirkby Lonsdale, just minutes from Devil’s Bridge and is the perfect location to explore the Forest of Bowland.

Pub classics, creative world food and sensational seafood specials. Delivering exceptional quality food in outstanding locations is at the heart of what they do. Seafood is an important part of the menus, with daily changing specials showcasing the catch of the day, straight from legendary fish monger Chris Neve. And it doesn’t stop there, each of the menus consists of a wide range of dishes using locally sourced meat, poultry and game.

If you’re looking to hold a function, event or celebration with them, then choose from the main menus, or work alongside the chefs to create a bespoke menu, tailored to your exact needs.

If you’re looking for accommodation in the Lune Valley, then The Fenwick is well worth a visit; offering nine stunning bedrooms, which all boast flat screen TVs and free WiFi, making your stay a comfortable and enjoyable one. There is plenty to see and do during your stay; guests can visit the nearby Lancaster Castle, Hornby Castle, the famous picturesque town of Kirkby Lonsdale, or even travel a little further afield to Blackpool, whereby the famous Blackpool Tower and Madame Tussauds are great local attractions.
