The building itself dates back to the 17th Century so the bar and a number of the rooms have real historic character. With an open fire during the colder months of the year, this is a building of real character and atmosphere. The bar has a gorgeous selection of drinks at the Duke William, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, whether it’s a quick coffee to warm up after shopping, a treat from their exciting rage of spirits, or one of the fantastic proper beers.

The restaurant prides itself on quality local ingredients, cooked fresh to order. All of the food served in the restaurant and pub is freshly prepared using only local suppliers. Food is served all day.

The Duke William offers you a very relaxed stay. Whether you’re in the area for business, a short family break, romantic weekend or part of a celebration this is the ideal choice.
