Details

The Bedford, first built in 1931 has recently undergone a multi million pound refurbishment to create an unrivalled pub with 15 super stylish boutique bedrooms.

5 beautiful bars offer the finest artisan spirits, craft beers, cocktails, wines and Champagnes. Their restaurant focuses on using the best ingredients from the British Isles, including free range chicken and pork, beef aged in house and sustainably caught fish.

Their ballroom and cocktail bar provide the ultimate places to party whilst the iconic stage in the Club Room, once home to the likes of Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Eddie Izzard and Michael McIntyre, presents a hot bed of up and coming creative talent.

The Bedford is a beautiful Grade II listed building and as a result their 15 boutique bedrooms are utterly unique in terms of charm and character. Their individually designed bedrooms add another layer of luxury. Expect Hypnos beds, Egyptian cotton linen, roll top baths, rain showers and bespoke artwork for a truly memorable stay. Guests receive a complimentary in room breakfast during the week (porridge, fruit, juice, tea and coffee) and can enjoy breakfast in the Saloon Bar from 8.30am on Saturday and Sunday. Please note, well behaved dogs are welcome in the bar, but not their bedrooms.

The Bedford is an iconic venue for any event. Whether you want to organise a birthday or wedding, attend a gig VIP style, launch a new product or are planning something on a larger scale they can assure you of an event to remember.

Located in Balham, the heart of south London, The Bedford is just a 15 minute journey to central London via train, or a 10 minute walk to the sights of Clapham Common (and its regular festivals) or Tooting Bec Lido (an historic open air swimming pool). The train from Balham to Gatwick airport takes just 35 minutes, making it an excellent location for business or pleasure.
