The Woodthorpe is a 19th century Victorian property formerly the family home of Sir Edward Holt, later converted to a pub/hotel in the 1950's.
Dine in the cosy and traditional bar area, or the luxurious Carvery and Function Room, which is available to hire for any occasion. There is a full range of traditional Joseph Holt real ales, together with carefully selected quality wines from around the world to complement their premier food menu. It also has a superb outdoor heated and covered terrace with beer garden for outdoor socialising. Food is served from 11.30am to 10pm daily, so you'll have plenty of time to enjoy their delicious main meals.
The Woodthorpe is also a prime location for relaxing stop-over stays as it is close to Heaton Park for the Parklife Festivals and all rooms have modern furnishings and en-suite facility. The rates for their rooms are £40 weekday and £60 weekend per night. This pub also caters for all types of functions and parties and has an extensive wedding reception package.
