The Black Bull is situated in Escrick just a stone's throw away from the historic city of York and within close proximity to McArthur Glen's York Designer Outlet. Whether you are visiting for business or for pleasure, The Black Bull is a perfect retreat. They serve superb, locally-sourced home-cooked food and offer a selection of fine wines and award-winning ales. Stay a while longer and book a night in their quality overnight accommodation.

Their extensive menu consists of a wide range of traditional pub food all made fresh to order and prepared where possible using locally sourced ingredients. On a Sunday they serve traditional Sunday lunches. All the food is home-made so they can cater for special dietary requirements such as gluten-free meals for coeliacs and meat-free meals for vegetarians and they also offer a children's menu too.

The inn offers 10 bedrooms which are all finished to a very high standard and include two small double en-suites, five double en-suites, a family en-suite for two adults and two children and two twin en-suites. All the rooms are situated on the first floor. The rooms are non-smoking and include an en-suite bathroom with shower, complimentary toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities, TV, hairdryer and free high-speed internet access. Room rates include a full English breakfast.
