The Bolton Arms is a dog friendly and family-run pub situated a short walk from Bolton Castle, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales.
Dating back to the 17th Century, the Bolton Arms is a much-loved and welcoming pub which is popular with locals and visitors to the area alike. The bar, which is often home to a dog or two enjoying the warmth of the roaring log fire, serves an excellent selection of locally brewed ales and an extensive and varied wine list, designed to suit any taste. The team are passionate about making every guest feel at home and the wonderfully relaxing atmosphere is one of the main reasons the pub is so popular.
The menu has been created with the upmost care, using small, local suppliers to create knock-out dishes. There are plenty of pub favourites on the menu including fish and chips, steak and ale pie and liver and bacon alongside a daily specials board. There is a good selection of vegetarian options and should you have any dietary requirements, the team are more than happy to tailor dishes to suit.
There are 5 comfortable and well-equipped en-suite bedrooms, a couple of which are dog friendly should you be visiting with your four-legged friend. The rooms are in a separate building to the main pub giving you a bit of privacy and a couple of them have sensational views over Wensleydale. A fabulous and generous breakfast is included in the price, setting you up for a day of exploring the surrounding countryside.
Redmire is located on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, within walking distance of Bolton Abbey and a few miles from Aysgarth Falls.
