Details

The Black A Moor Inn is a cosy and popular country pub on the edge of the attractive city of Ripon.

The inn is known for its first-rate service and fantastic food. Popular with locals and visitors alike, the team work hard to ensure that everyone is welcomed and looked after from the minute they step through the door. The bar offers a regularly changing selection of real ales, some excellent single malts and an ever-evolving wine list, all of which can be enjoyed in front of the roaring log fire. If you have your dog with you, then you’ll be very welcome in the snug where there are blankets and biscuits waiting for your four-legged friend.

The kitchen prides itself on the quality of its food which is seasonal and locally sourced. We hear that their Sunday lunch is one of the best in the county. They are extremely accommodating to all dietary requirements; do feel free to get in touch and they’ll happily tweak a dish to suit. There’s a private dining room for 25 people available or, for larger celebrations, the whole restaurant can be hired which seats 60.

The 5 en-suite bedrooms are comfortable and serene. They are individually decorated and all have wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. They come with everything you could need for a relaxing night’s sleep and a home-cooked breakfast is included in the price.

The Black A Moor Inn is located just outside the gorgeous city of Ripon which has lots on offer for visitors including its gothic cathedral and market square. Ripon Racecourse is around the corner and the majestic Fountains Abbey is a short drive away. If you’re after a faster pace, then Lightwater Valley theme park is a few miles away.
