The Masons Arms is a traditional and friendly pub ideally situated for exploring the glorious Yorkshire dales.
From the moment you step through the door, you’ll be won over by the oak-beamed ceilings, open fire and wide range of cask ales. There’s a real log fire to warm your hands by in the winter, and a beer garden for enjoying in the summer. Dogs are very welcome in the bar and will no doubt be on the receiving end of lots of attention from the friendly locals who regularly visit.
For the peckish, the Masons Arms has an extensive food menu serving a wide range of locally sourced, home cooked food. Food is served all day, every day and favourites include fish and chips, steaks, pies and sharing plates. There are plenty of vegetarian options and the kitchen is happy to offer a selection of gluten free options too.
There are six rooms available including a fully equipped disabled room and a large family room. The rooms have their own private entrance with ample car parking nearby and come with TVs, DVD players and tea & coffee making facilities. A full English breakfast or a buffet selection of fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereal means you’re fully set for the day after a good night’s sleep.
Situated in the centre of Gargrave village, and close to the River Aire, the Masons Arms is in an ideal position for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and both the Forest of Bowland and Nidderdale AONBs. The Pennine Way almost passes the door but for those wanting something a little less strenuous, there are numerous rambles from the village which showcase Yorkshire’s glorious countryside. Fishing, golf and horse riding are also on the doorstep; just ask the friendly team for information.
