The Angel of Corbridge is a historic coaching inn built in 1529 in the beautiful countryside of Northumberland.
They are very lucky to be located in such a pretty village in one of the most beautiful regions of the UK. There are so many amazing places to visit in Northumberland, and they are a perfect base to explore Hadrian’s Wall, the unique Northumberland coast or the Newcastle Quayside. Corbridge itself has a very rich roman history, with a fantastic museum located in the town which can be accessed via a lovely riverside walk from The Angel.
The bar is the hub of the Angel and offers food all day as well as local real ales. The lounge, with a real log fire, is a great place to relax. They offer delicious courses in their barn restaurant, which is also popular for evening dinners and a superb Sunday lunch. The Angel's Table offers private dining and meetings and, of course, they have their own award winning chippy. They also have plenty of south-facing seating at the front of the Angel; a great place to watch the world go by.
All the bedrooms are comfortable and the prices include a full Northumbrian breakfast. In the Angel they have 6 double rooms, 1 family room and an apartment containing a lounge, 2 bedrooms and a small kitchen.
