The Bowes Hotel is situated in the beautiful village of Bardon Mill, with fantastic views over the Tyne Valley.
The pub has recently been renovated and the original property was built in 1906, however a pub has been on the site since the early 1800's. The room names are taken from the various names the pub has been called over the last 200 years, The Sportsman 1828 to 1834, The Hare & Hounds 1834 to 1855, The Greyhound 1855 to 1895, The Station Hotel 1895 to 1906 and The Bowes hotel 1906 to present.
Bardon Mill is located in Northumberland situated to the west of Haydon Bridge and Hexham, on the River South Tyne. Bardon Mill lies only 2.5miles south of the main sites on Hadrian's Wall. The pub boasts a well stocked bar offering a great selction of quality of real ales, premium lagers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. Enjoy a bite to eat at the restaurant.
