One of the oldest buildings in Brecon, the Wellington has recently been refurbished and stands proudly in the town square overlooking the Duke of Wellington statue.

The Wellington Hotel is in the centre of the historic market town of Brecon, amid the rolling hills of the Brecon Beacons National Park. As one of the oldest buildings in Brecon, The Wellington's beautiful Georgian facade looks over the town square and the monument of the Duke of Wellington himself.

Brecon Beacons has no shortage of activities including canoeing, mountain biking and kayaking which are available at Black Mountain Adventures. For a more leisurely pursuit horse riding and trekking can be found at Cantref Adventure Farm, while the town itself hosts the famous annual Brecon Jazz Festival and boasts the sights of Brecon Cathedral.

After a day of exploring you can enjoy a delicious meal from their varied menu. Choose from sharing platters, flavoursome curries, steaks from the grill or freshly made burgers. If you're looking to tempt your sweet tooth they offer a range of mouth-watering desserts such as traditional bread pudding and warm chocolate fudge cake.
