Enjoy a relaxed stay just a over a mile from famous Rutland Water. The Finch's Arms is an attractive stone building featuring comfy bedrooms with contemporary decor, plus delicious food served all day.

The bar features big log fires and original beams to welcome you after a day strolling the shores of Rutland Water, or sightseeing at nearby Burghley House. The bar area is perfect for reading the papers over a pint of beer or cider, while the adjoining dining area makes a lovely setting for a relaxed meal. There's also an extensive wine list featuring champagne and sparkling options for that special occasion.

Food-wise, there's everything from lighter bites served over lunchtime, plus lamb, steak and veggie options if you're after something substantial. We hear that the sharing boards are popular, as are the fantastic selection of puds. For a treat, make sure to book a full Afternoon Tea experience overlooking the water - or simply enjoy a cuppa and a cake - served 10am-5pm daily.

There are 10 rooms, all decorated in a contemporary style. Some rooms have lake views while others overlook the pretty village of Hambleton. Either way, all come equipped with quality toiletries, mineral water, tea and coffee making facilities and either a luxe walk-in shower or roll-top bath.
