Details

Located right in the centre of Frome, the Archangel has an excellent reputation for its vibrant, warm hospitality, top quality restaurant food and quirky but first class accommodation.

First recorded as an Inn in 1311, the Archangel despite extensive renovations still reveals its medieval history with ancient beams and walls. Modern touches have been added such as suspended glass mezzanine cube, Italian-made mustard yellow chairs and zinced-topped bar.

The ten bedrooms are decorated in deep, rich purples and golds and include luxurious details such as sumptuous velvet curtains, zinc roll-top bathtubs and gold Florentine headboards. Facilities include high quality linen, natural bath and body products from Bramley, a flat-screen television and Wifi.

The chef uses the best ingredients he can find and use local suppliers so you can expect that the food is expertly crafted with a real passion for the British countryside. With a large selection of ales, wines and cocktails, the bar is the perfect place to enjoy a vibrant atmosphere.

They have many different events spaces and can cater for small or big events - from birthdays, dinner parties, team meetings or weddings.

The Archangel are proud to be part of The Epicurean Collection, a group of boutique countryside inns dedicated to the finest in British food, comfort and culture all set in some of England's most idyllic locations.

Nearby attractions include Frome Market, Longleat Safari Park and Cheddar Gorges.
