Nestling between the Quantock Hills and Exmoor National Park, the New Inn is an 18th century former coaching inn that offers the complete country village pub experience.
The New Inn boasts excellent facilities. Throughout the year, whatever the occasion, whatever the weather, we can provide the perfect way for you to relax and recharge your batteries.
Or we can offer you a friendly home base for your walking, sightseeing or activity break – either B&B or full board. At the New Inn, all our bedrooms are en suite and come equipped with TV and DVD players, tea and coffee facilities plus extremely comfortable beds. Room Rates include a full English breakfast, there is a reduction of £10.00 per night for single occupancy.
A full à la carte menu is served every evening (except Mondays when the resturant is closed) in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant serves up seasonal cuisine, honestly priced. The quality food is simple, local and without pretence. All dishes use only the finest, freshest ingredients, sourced from local markets and suppliers wherever possible. Our extensive wine list offers carefully chosen wines to accompany your meal.
The cosy bar oozes comfort, with its large open log fireplace always ablaze during the winter months. A fully stocked bar should satisfy the palate – why not try one of the local brews on offer? The New Inn had a long tradition of brewing its own ales and still serves locally brewed award winning West Country beers.
