Nestling in the shadows of the village church the 17th century Kings Arms Inn has an idyllic setting with a bar, lots of comfy sofas, a restaurant and 15 letting rooms.
The inn was completely refurbished in May 2008 and now offers 15 spacious and bright bedrooms for individuals, couples and families. Each of our 15 rooms have been designed with your comfort in mind and benefit from:-
• Tea and coffee making facilities
• En-suite toilet with bath and/or shower
• Complimentary toiletries
• Hairdryers, irons and ironing boards are also available on request.
• All rooms are serviced daily and the inn also offers free off road parking to all guests subject to availability.
Breakfast is served daily and we offer the choice of either full traditional English or continental style breakfasts together with juice, tea and coffee. As we prepare all meals fresh on the premises, orders can be altered to suit your dietary requirements.
Our chef has used the charming surroundings of the Kings Arms Inn to lovingly create a satisfying and rustic menu with which for you to feast. Choose from our rosette standard A-La-Carte menu or lighter bar menu. All our food is locally sourced and home made, even down to our ice creams and sorbets.
The bar at the inn is popular with the locals and you will be sure to meet a few memorable characters who will be happy to give you a few pointers on your trip and let you know all about Montacute's fascinating history.
The cozy seating area and its wood burning fires make this a great place to unwind with a pint or a lovely chilled glass of wine to help wash down some traditional pub food. The inn also has a large beer garden that offers guest the opportunity to enjoy food and drinks outdoors weather permitting of course.
