The Duke’s Head is a small, friendly traditional English Inn and a perfect base from which to explore Richmond.
The Duke’s Head is enduringly popular with tourists, who love to soak up the atmosphere of this inviting stately pub and B&B when they visit Richmond-upon-Thames.
The Duke’s Head offers a selection of 11 rooms, all beautifully presented. All rooms have tea and coffee facilities, private bathrooms and come fully furnished with a TV. Resident guests are served a hearty English breakfast every morning - although host Mairead does sometimes give it a bit of an Irish flavour.
The quality of any restaurant stands or falls on its chef, and in this respect the Duke’s Head has come up trumps. Their chef is Eddy, who has 10 of year’s experience, and has worked for many prestigious establishments.
The River Thames runs through the heart of the town, and the area offers beautiful royal parks and historic houses, theatres, museums and galleries rich with exhibits, plus numerous shops and restaurants.
