The Bell, originally an 18th Century coaching inn is situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Alderminster, the gateway to the Cotswolds.
The Bell is part of the historic Alscot Estate, a thriving award winning country estate headed by Emma Holman-West. This traditional country pub oozes distinctive features such as flagged stone floors and open fires and has been transformed over the years to provide a stunning two floor contemporary restaurant with views, and nine individually styled luxury bedrooms.
Their unique and individual approach with a range of charming spaces, both inside and out, makes The Bell a special place to visit. Whether it be a bar snack, light lunch or dinner, the chefs are passionate about the food they offer, and use locally sourced fresh seasonal produce to create a delicious menu of British favourites. The Bell is proud of its AA Rosette for culinary excellence.
Their very own Alscot Ale accompanies a selection of local guest beers and the well-chosen wine list is handpicked, and of course each personally tasted!
Each and every one of the nine boutique rooms have been individually designed to create extremely stylish and comfortable accommodation. All of the rooms come with flat screen TVs, free high speed broadband and en-suite shower facilities. They believe the small things make a huge difference and therefore each room is supplied with fresh milk, Alscot blend coffee, and hand-made biscuits from The Bell's own kitchen.
They offer two dog friendly bedrooms so that your pooch can enjoy an overnight stay too. Elmdon is suitable for one small dog and Glanwye is suitable for up to two dogs. They charge a small supplement per dog and they do ask that you bring their bed, bowls and any other home comforts along for them. Further details can be found if you click through to their website.
