The Crossroads Inn is located on the Pennine Moors with spectacular views across the Yorkshire countryside.
The Inn is focussed on providing excellent value for money for their many guests, whether they’re just passing through and grabbing a quick bite to eat, or staying in one of their clean and comfortable en-suite guest bedrooms. The welcoming and cosy bar serves a wide range of ales, beers, wines and spirits and there’s a relaxed atmosphere throughout.
The menu, which includes a children’s menu and daily specials marked up on the blackboard, offers good quality food at excellent value. Portions are generous, ingredients are local and we hear that the landlord’s crunchy chips are an absolute must.
The 6 en-suite bedrooms are well kept, clean and fresh. Each one benefits from fabulous views over the surrounding countryside, guaranteed to knock your socks off. After a good night’s sleep, there’s a home cooked and plentiful breakfast waiting for you, giving you the fuel you need to explore this stunning part of Yorkshire.
There’s plenty to do in the area. Should you be looking for a little culture, then Haworth, home to the Bronte Parsonage Museum, is less than 20 minutes’ drive away and Halifax is just down the road where you’ll find the Eureka Museum for children. The West Pennine Moors offers fantastic walks whether you’re after a short stroll or something more demanding.
