Experienced chef's Peter Conlin and his partner Jayne Barton have taken over running the Timothy Taylor owned Crossroads Inn at Wainstalls. Looking for a fresh challenge the couple have moved North from the New Forest where Peter was Executive Chef for Pebble Hotels and Jayne was the head chef at the famous forest inn, The High Corner. Initially he will take charge of the kitchen, whilst Jayne takes care of all the front of house needs.
The Crossroads Inn has daily specials on all of the chalk boards, Along with the Extensive Main Menu, the daily specials give your eating experience at the crossroads that extra special impression. The Specials are served daily and include their famous Landlord Crunchy chips, hand cut chips with special coating. The menu includes fresh locally sourced food, fine wines specially imported by Timothy Taylors Championship Ales and recently refurbished comfortable accommodation.
The pub is home to six bedrooms, recently redesigned and updated. Each room has an en-suite bathroom, with bath, toilet and shower. The standard coffee making facilities are all included in the rooms with Flat screen TV's and Free WiFi. What they don't charge for is the amazing views from the rooms.
