Details

The Bell is situated in the rural village of Eckington. Whether you are looking for a place to stay or a place to enjoy some excellent food and fine wine, you’ll find The Bell a perfect choice.

The wonderful open plan restaurant has a superbly warm and relaxing feel to it created by the blending of old and new, and thus providing a quirky, contemporary environment in which to enjoy the fabulous range of quality food on offer. At the centre of the restaurant is a fabulous open, roaring log fireplace offering a unique centre point and warmth to the pub. They have a great enclosed garden at the rear of the pub, where you are welcome to eat and drink and enjoy the sunshine. Friendly dogs are more than welcome in the garden where the full menu is available for you to enjoy.

They offer menus with dishes that are made using fresh, and wherever possible locally sourced produce, therefore the menu changes seasonally to allow them to make the most of any ingredients available locally. A range of dishes are on offer to accommodate all tastes – from traditional favourites such as home battered cod, homemade chips and garden peas, or one of their homemade steak pies with mash to the “Bell Burger” or slow roasted lamb shank, bubble and squeak and rosemary gravy.

At The Bell they have 4 individually designed, en-suite bedrooms which provide a home from home feel. Whether you are looking to stay for business or pleasure you will not be disappointed, everything you could need is here. With private access, TV with built-in Freeview, WiFi access, Egyptian cotton bedding, tea and coffee making facilities and more. The rooms are based on the first floor, just a short walk in the morning downstairs to enjoy a wonderful full English or continental breakfast.
